3. How can I change the fuel consumption units?

Fuel capacity units may vary from vehicle to vehicle, so they must be defined or changed in the Vehicles editor. When adding or editing, you have the option to select the vehicle's fuel capacity from the options of Liters, Gallons, Kilowatt-hours, Cubic Meters, and Hydrogen.

4. What information is required to register a vehicle?

The following information is required: Make, Model, License Plate Number, Year of Manufacture, Cubic Centimeter Capacity, Fuel Unit, and Counter Unit (Miles or Kilometers).

5. What data is needed to record fuel fills?

Fuel fills allow us to monitor vehicle performance, and for good results, the following data should be recorded every time a vehicle is used at a gas station or another Load station: Fuel date, Amount according to the currency selected in the settings, Unit Price according to the currency and the fuel unit, and the counter value according to the selected vehicle (miles or kilometers).

6. Can registered vehicles be modified?

Yes, it is possible to modify a vehicle. To do so, from the main screen, scroll left and select the vehicle you want to modify. Two options will appear: one with a pencil to modify the data, and the other with a trash can to delete the selected vehicle. Making the modification will affect the reports and views that will display the modified with the recalculated data.

7. How to delete a registered vehicle?

To delete a vehicle, select and drag the vehicle you want to delete to the left. Then, use the button with the trash can icon. A warning will appear indicating that all data entered for this vehicle will be deleted from both the fuel loads and expense records. It is important to note that this process is irreversible.

8. How do I modify or delete fuel loads?

To modify or delete a fuel load record, select the record and drag it to the left. Use the pencil icon to make changes to the record, and use the trash can icon to delete the records. There is an internal function that will recalculate the record data based on the changes or deletions made to maintain information consistency.

9. What is the formula for calculating a vehicle's fuel efficiency?

Vehicle efficiency is primarily based on the average mileage per unit of fuel, such as miles per gallon or kilometers per liter.

10. How are vehicle expenses recorded?

The expense records allows you to organize all vehicle expenses, other than fuel charges, by category and subcategory. To do this, you must record the date of the expense, the amount according to the defined currency, the expense details, and the category (selected from the eight defined categories). Once selected, the subcategories for each category are defined to achieve a very specific expense classification.

11. Can expense categories and subcategories be modified?

No. These parameters have been created with the most representative parameters to achieve a standard classification of all types of expenses.

12. What information does the report show?

The report shows detailed costs, quantities, amounts, distances traveled, a classified expense summary, and a monthly expense summary. With all this information, the user has sufficient data to determine if they can make any changes to improve performance, clearly define the vehicle's actual costs in their budget, and have an organized history of all vehicle expenses.
