Answers to frequently asked questions
On any screen, in the options at the bottom, select the last tab on the right labeled "language." In this configuration window, select between English and Spanish. For the changes to take effect, you must restart the application.
No, if you want to change the goal's name you must delete it and create a new one.
There are the following statuses: "INITIAL" which means that the start date of the goal is greater than today's date, "IN PROGRESS" which corresponds to all goals that have a start date greater than or equal to the current date and less than or equal to the end date, "SUCCESS" means that the goal was met since the end date was reached and the days completed successfully do not exceed the days allowed to fail and finally there is the status of "FAILURE" which means that the days that were allowed to fail were exceeded either because the tasks were not completed or because they were not marked each day, which is how the application works, the good thing is that you can delete this goal and try it again whenever you want.
Each goal can have many tasks and each task must be defined on which days of the week it must be completed, this logic is the basis of the application because if my goal is for example to be in a healthy state I have to see what are the tasks to meet this goal, surely I need to control my diet, exercise, sleep well, etc. So each task must be as specific as possible and indicate on which days it must be completed, for example to do exercises I can put as a task "Do push-ups" and it must be done every day Monday, Wednesday and Friday, another task can be "Do sit-ups" and mark the days "Tuesday and Thursday", another task "Do not eat sugar" and mark the days "Monday to Friday", another task "Do Sports" and mark the "Saturdays" and according to all the tasks that are defined when I enter the "Today's Tasks" tab all the tasks of all the goals that I must complete according to the day "Monday to Sunday" will appear.
The goals met are managed internally by the system and the logic corresponds to the name of the application, there are no middle ground, either it is DO or it is NOT DO, meaning that all the tasks of an objective must have been completed on the defined day or the goal for that day will be marked as NOT DO (Thumbs Down). To achieve results, you need to learn to discipline yourself, if my goal is to lose weight and on that day I exercised as planned but did not control my diet, which I also had planned, it means that that day cannot be considered complete, the same as if I make a half report for work it cannot be considered a complete report, so in this application all the tasks defined for each day must be completed for it to be considered a full day (Thumbs Up).
When a new goal is created, the slack days must be defined, which mean the days that could fail for any reason, since each one plans a goal that can normally be long or medium term of up to several months, it must be take care that even if one wants to, anything can happen and fail to complete all the scheduled tasks and each time that all the scheduled tasks of a day are not completed, the failed days will be added, which should not exceed the slack days. These failed and slack days will be shown with the list of objectives.
To meet a goal, all scheduled days must be completed without exceeding the slack days, which means that we were marking the tasks of each day as completed. There may be goals that do not have any tasks for specific days, such as Sundays, for example, and these days will not be taken into account in the evaluations and do not affect the slack days. This means that if, for example, I schedule a goal that has tasks that I want to be done only on Mondays, I can do it and only on that day should the tasks be marked.
No, you must be careful with the time you mark tasks because after midnight you will no longer be able to mark tasks that were pending for the day and you cannot change the evaluations of tasks from previous days.
